About Dr. Stanazai

I am an experienced neurologist with more than a decade of experience specializing in neurology, with a strong focus on vascular neurology. My medical career started with a comprehensive residency in general neurology at WVU School of Medicine, laying a strong groundwork in the discipline. My passion for vascular neurology led me to pursue further specialization at the prestigious George Washington University.

Alongside my clinical practice, I'm dedicated to sharing knowledge and insights. I've had the privilege of delivering engaging lectures on various neurological topics, contributing to the ongoing education of both patients and fellow medical professionals.

My commitment to providing exceptional care is underscored by my board certification in both general neurology and vascular neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).

Outside of medicine, I cherish moments spent with my family, engaging in the dynamic sport of squash, and exploring various new hobbies that spark my interest.

My Approach

In my neurology practice, my philosophy is rooted in patient-centered care and a commitment to excellence. With over a decade of experience, I understand the profound impact that neurological conditions can have on individuals and their families. That's why I've dedicated myself to not only staying at the forefront of medical advancements but also to providing compassionate and personalized care. My specialization in vascular neurology equips me with a unique skill set to address complex neurological issues, particularly those related to vascular conditions of the brain.

I believe in fostering a strong patient-physician relationship built on trust, open communication, and mutual respect. I'm not just here to diagnose and treat; I'm here to empower my patients to actively engage in their healthcare journey. Whether it's through longer appointment times, responsive communication, or a collaborative approach to treatment, I aim to ensure that each patient feels heard, supported, and well-informed. Beyond my clinical expertise, I'm passionate about education, both for my patients and my colleagues. Through lectures and sharing insights on various neurological topics, I hope to contribute to a deeper understanding of neurological health.
